SIMONE CORSI AD UN PASSO DAL PODIO. UN PROBLEMA AL PNEUMATICO POSTERIORE COSTRINGE AUGUSTO FERNANDEZ AL RITIRO.

Nella più bella prestazione della stagione 2017, Simone Corsi conquista un ottimo quarto posto nel Gran Premio di Germania in sella alla sua Speed Up SF7. Penalizzato dalla partenza, Corsi si ritrova a dover battagliare dall’undicesima posizione. Il pilota romano, deciso a recuperare più posizioni possibili per non perdere i primi, apre il gas ed inizia la rimonta. Autore di un’ottima prestazione, finisce la gara in quarta posizione, a sette decimi dal primo, portandosi all’ottavo posto della classifica generale. Penalizzato in gara da un problema al pneumatico posteriore, Augusto Fernandez è stato costretto al ritiro dopo sette giri dall’inizio della gara.

“Il miglior risultato di questa stagione, bello ed importante, sia per me che per il team! Peccato aver mancato il podio per così poco, sarà il nostro obiettivo per la prossima gara. AUGUSTO FERNANDEZ#37 – Ritirato
“Abbiamo sprecato un’ottima occasione in cui potevamo fare davvero bene. Sono dispiaciuto, è un peccato finire così un weekend in cui abbiamo lavorato bene ed avevamo un buon passo in entrambe le condizioni della pista, asciutta e bagnata. Purtroppo non è dipeso da noi, un difetto alla gomma del posteriore ha condizionato la nostra gara. Ora guardiamo alla seconda metà della stagione. L’obiettivo da raggiungere è la zona punti!”


SIMONE CORSI ONE STEP AWAY FROM THE PODIUM. A PROBLEM WITH THE REAR TYRE FORCES AUGUSTO FERNANDEZ TO RETIRE

In his best performance of 2017 season, Simone Corsi authoritatively takes a nice fourth place on his Speed UP SF7 bike in the German Grand Prix. Penalized from the start, Corsi had to struggle from the eleventh position. The Roman rider, determined to recover as many positions as possible to join the first, opens the gas and begins the comeback. Author of an excellent performance, he finishes the race fourth, with only seven tenths from the first, taking the eighth place of the overall standings. On the other part of Speed Up box, a problem with the rear tyre penalized Augusto Fernandez, who was forced to retire after seven laps from start of the race.
