QATAR GP - DANNY KENT E FABIO QUARTARARO FUORI DALLA ZONA PUNTI MA SODDISFATTI DEL PROGRESSO

I piloti del Beta Tools-Speed Up Racing Team terminano la gara del Gran Premio del Qatar in diciassettesima (Danny Kent#52) e ventesima (Fabio Quartararo°20) posizione. Entrambi i piloti hanno accusato dei problemi di grip sin dall’inizio gara che li ha costretti ad una guida sicuramente al di sotto delle loro capacità. Il bilancio, nonostante i risultati finali, è comunque positivo grazie al progresso raggiunto dai due piloti Speed Up nel corso del weekend. Il feeling con le Speed Up SF18 è di molto migliorato in questa prima gara e Danny Kent e Fabio Quartararo sono pronti a continuare i miglioramenti raggiunti finora per poter essere più competitivi nel prossimo Gran Premio di Argentina.

DANNY KENT#52 – 17°
“Sono molto deluso dai risultati della gara di oggi. Sfortunatamente, proprio come la prima uscita delle qualifiche, avevamo una gomma imperfetta con zero grip. Non sono contento perché alla fine delle qualifiche ho avuto un ottimo feeling con la moto utilizzando una buona gomma, quindi ovviamente ero motivato e fiducioso per un buon risultato. Purtroppo sin dal primo giro di gara avevo già capito che non avevo grip. Mi dispiace per la mia squadra, ma temo che sia qualcosa fuori dal mio e dal loro controllo. Ora torno a casa e continuo a lavorare molto duramente per tornare forte in Argentina”

FABIO QUARTARARO#20 – 20°
“È stato un weekend molto difficile perché abbiamo avuto problemi durante tutte le sessioni. Dobbiamo migliorare soprattutto l’aerodinamica della moto e continuare a lavorare in vista della prossima gara in Argentina”.


DANNY KENT AND FABIO QUARTARARO OUT OF POINTS BUT SATISFIED

Beta Tools-Speed ​​Up Racing Team riders finished the Grand Prix race of Qatar in seventeenth (Danny Kent #52) and twentieth (Fabio Quartararo#20) position. Both riders have been suffering from grip issues since the beginning of the race which forced them to drive definitely below their capacity. “I am very disappointed with the results of today race. Unfortunately, just like the first exit of qualifying, we had a bad tyre with zero grip. I am not happy because at the end of qualifying with a good tyre I had a great feeling with the bike so of course I was motivated and confident for a good result, but I knew already from the first lap my grip was very bad and I had too much spin. Sorry to my team, but I am afraid it’s something that is out of mine and the team’s control. I will go home and work very hard to come back to Argentina strong!”

FABIO QUARTARARO#20 – 20th
“It was a very difficult weekend because we had problems during all the sessions. We need to improve the aerodynamics of the bike and continue to work ahead of the next race in Argentina”.
