ARGENTINA GP: IL TEAM SPEED UP RACING FINISCE LA GARA A PUNTI CON DANNY KENT

MB Conveyors-Speed Up Racing team finisce a punti il Gran Premio Motul de la República Argentina con Danny Kent che arriva dodicesimo al traguardo dopo i 23 giri di gara. Le condizioni della pista non sono ottimali ed i piloti devono adeguarsi ad un tracciato a tratti asciutto e a tratti bagnato. Partito dalla terza posizione della prima fila, il pilota inglese Danny Kent si ritrova a dover lottare sin dal primo giro di gara dopo una partenza non favorevole. Gara difficile anche per il compagno di box Fabio Quartararo che fatica a trovare il feeling con la Speed Up SF18. Termina la gara in ventiduesima posizione recuperando sei posizioni.
La Moto2 tornerà in pista ad Austin, in Texas, fra due settimane, dal 20 al 22 aprile.

DANNY KENT#52 – 12°
“Indubbiamente sono un po’ del dal risultato di oggi. Sento davvero che il potenziale è migliore di quello che abbiamo dimostrato; ho segnato il sesto tempo giro più veloce, ma in questo momento stiamo avendo qualche difficoltà sul rettilineo che spero nelle prossime gare riusciremo a migliorare. In ogni caso, possiamo fare di più. Il team ha svolto un ottimo lavoro questo fine settimana e sento che ci stiamo avanzando passo dopo passo. Continuerò a lavorare sodo su me stesso per migliorare sin dalla prossima gara”.

FABIO QUARTARARO#20 – 22°
“È stato un weekend molto difficile ed impegnativo. Nel corso della gara sono riuscito a recuperare qualche posizione ma è ovvio che partire dalla ventottesima posizione non è mai facile. So che possiamo e dobbiamo migliorare ancora molto. Il lavoro continuerà anche nelle prossime due settimane nelle quali analizzeremo i dati raccolti in questo weekend per fare luce ai problemi da risolvere prima della prossima gara in Texas. Ringrazio il team per lavorare così duramente insieme a me”.

Starting from the third position of the first row, the English rider Danny Kent finds himself having to fight from the first lap of the race after an unfavourable start. Difficult race also for teammate Fabio Quartararo, who struggles to find the feeling with the Speed ​​Up SF18 for the entire weekend. He finishes the race in twenty-second position, recovering six places. Moto2 will be back on track in Austin, Texas, in two weeks, from 20th to 22nd April.

DANNY KENT#52 – 12th
“Of course, I am little disappointed with today result. I really feel the potential is much better; as you can see I set the 6th fastest lap time, but right now we are having some problems on the straight that I hope on the next races we can improve. I have a great feeling with the bike in the corners, I am just not able to pass on the straight. Either way our potential is better. The team have done a great job this weekend and I feel that we are step by step getting closer. I will keep working hard on myself to improve for the next race”.

FABIO QUARTARARO#20 – 22th
“It was a very difficult and tricky weekend. During the race I managed to recover some positions but it is obvious that starting from the twenty-eighth position is never easy. I know we can and must still improve a lot. The work will continue in the next two weeks in which we will analyse the data collected this weekend to shed light on the problems to be solved before the next race in Texas. Thanks to the team for working hard with me”.
