Per Danny Kent è invece durata poco la corsa. Il britannico, che sembrava aver trovato il giusto feeling nelle sessioni dei giorni precedenti, non ha portato a termine la sua gara a causa di una scivolata alla curva 1 del decimo giro quando, dopo una bella partenza, cercava di recuperare posizioni. La prossima tappa del Campionato Mondiale Moto2 è il Gran Premio di Catalunya, Montmeló, a Barcellona, ​​il 17 giugno.

“Son deluso dal risultato finale di oggi perché non abbiamo dimostrato il potenziale che avevamo in questo weekend. Purtroppo in gara abbiamo avuto alcuni problemi con la moto che possiamo vedere chiaramente sui dati, problemi che non abbiamo avuto per tutto il weekend. Domani abbiamo un test qui al Mugello nel quale continueremo a lavorare per cercare di migliorare. Mi dispiace per la mia squadra e voglio ringraziare tutti per il supporto che mi danno”.
