CzechGP - QUARTARARO AD UN PASSO DALLA TOP TEN, KENT SCIVOLA AL DODICESIMO GIRO

Il team Speed Up Racing termina il Gran Premio della Repubblica Ceca ancora una volta a punti con Fabio Quartararo che chiude la gara in undicesima posizione. Weekend complicato invece per Danny Kent, che dopo aver recuperato otto posizioni grazie ad un’ottima partenza, scivola al dodicesimo giro perdendo il controllo dell’anteriore della sua Speed Up SF18.
Quartararo parte bene recuperando subito una posizione. Dei problemi in frenata rendono più complicata la gara ma con tenacia il numero 20 del team lotta per la top ten fino alla fine tagliando il traguardo undicesimo.
Nessuno stop per la Moto2 che tornerà in pista il prossimo fine settimana al RedBull Ring (10-12 agosto).

FABIO QUARTARARO#20 – 11°
“È stata una gara difficile, ma sono comunque soddisfatto del lavoro che abbiamo svolto. Siamo arrivati undicesimi a soli 5 secondi dal primo, questo fa capire quanto sia stata complicata la gara. Abbiamo dei problemi da risolvere sulla frenata che spero sistemeremo nel prossimo weekend durante il Gp di Austria. Il Redbullring è un circuito che mi piace molto, non vedo l’ora di tornare in pista!

DANNY KENT#52 – non classificato
“Sono rimasto deluso dalla caduta in gara. Ho fatto una buona partenza e primi giri guadagnando 8 posizioni dalla mia posizione di qualifica. Per tutto il weekend ho avuto un brutto feeling con la parte anteriore della moto e di nuovo in gara ho perso l’anteriore. Dobbiamo mantenere le nostre speranze e continuare a lavorare duramente per ottenere risultati migliori”.


QUARTARARO AT ONE STEP AWAY FROM THE TOP TEN, WHILE DANNY KENT CRASHES AT LAP TWELFTH
Boost-Speed ​​Up Racing team ended the Czech Republic Grand Prix once again with points with Fabio Quartararo who finishes the race in eleventh position. Weekend complicated for Danny Kent, who after recovering eight positions thanks to an excellent start, crashed down in lap twelfth losing control of the front of his Speed ​​Up SF18.
Quartararo started well recovering a position immediately. Braking problems compicated his race from the start but with tenacity the number 20 of the team fought for the top ten until the end crossing the finish line eleventh.
No stop for the Moto2 that will go back to the track next weekend at the RedBull Ring (10th-12th August).

“A difficult day today, we hoped to finish the qualifying at least in the first 10. Tomorrow morning during the warm up we will try some changes to the setting to improve the feeling with the bike. We will work above all on the gearing. If we find the problem and solve it we can have a good race!”

DANNY KENT#52 – DNF
“I’am disappointed with another crash, I made a good start and first laps to gain 8 positions from my qualifying position. All weekend I have had a bad feeling with the front of the bike and again in the race I lost the fro nt end. We have to keep our hopes up and keep working hard to achieve better results”.
