ValenciaGP: QUARTARARO SALUTA IL TEAM CON UNA FANTASTICA RIMONTA

All’ultima gara della stagione 2018, Fabio Quartararo saluta il team HDR heidrun-Speed Up con una fantastica rimonta confermando la decima posizione nella classifica finale del Campionato Mondiale Moto2. A pochi secondi dal warm up lap, un imprevisto durante l’accensione della moto costringe Fabio a lasciare la nona posizione in griglia ed iniziare così la gara dall’ultima posizione. I semafori si spengono, Fabio fa un’ottima partenza e alla fine del primo giro è già dodicesimo. Moltissime le cadute nel corso della gara a causa dell’asfalto scivoloso per la pioggia scesa nei primi giri, ma Quartararo non sbaglia e lotta fino all’ultimo giro tagliando il traguardo del Ricardo Tormo in sesta posizione.
Purtroppo il giovane Marcon scivola alla curva tre del settimo giro della competizione. Un weekend difficile per Tommaso che ha dovuto affrontare il suo primo Gran Premio del Campionato Mondiale sotto la pioggia dimostrando grande impegno e dedizione.

FABIO QUARTARARO#20 – 6°
“La gara è stata abbastanza difficile perché son partito ultimo, ma alla fine son riuscito a partire molto bene e a superare parecchi piloti nel primo giro. Son riusciti a finire sesti la gara ed è stato il miglior risultato che potevamo ottenere perché non avevamo il potenziale per lottare più avanti. Abbiamo chiuso il campionato di Moto2 abbastanza bene e per questo voglio ringraziare tutto il team per questo anno difficile insieme e per i traguardi raggiunti, grazie davvero!”

TOMMASO MARCON#70– non classificato
“È stata una gara davvero molto difficile perché con la pista bagnata c’era davvero poco grip. Proprio per questo motivo dopo neanche metà gara son caduto alla curva tre. Ringrazio davvero molto il team per l’opportunità datami in questo weekend e per il lavoro svolto insieme”.

QUARTARARO GREETS THE TEAM WITH A FANTASTIC COMEBACK
At the last race of the 2018 season, Fabio Quartararo greeted the HDR heidrun-Speed Up team with a fantastic comeback confirming the tenth position in the final classification of the Moto2 World Championship. A few seconds from the warm up lap, an unexpected problem during the turning on of the bike forced Fabio to leave the ninth position on the grid and start the race from the last position. The lights went out, Fabio made a good start and at the end of the first lap he was already twelfth. Many crashes during the race due to the slippery asphalt for the rain fell in the first laps, but Quartararo did anything wrong and fought until the last lap by crossing the Ricardo Tormo finish line in sixth position. Unfortunately, the young Marcon crashed out in the third turn of the seventh lap of the race. A difficult weekend for Tommaso who had to face his first Grand Prix of the World Championship in the rain, but he was able to show great commitment and dedication.

FABIO QUARTARARO#20 – 5th
“The race was quite difficult because I started from last position, but I managed to start very well and to overcome several riders in the first lap. I managed to finish the race sixth and it was the best result we could have achieved because we did not have the potential to fight further. We closed the Moto2 championship quite well and for this I want to thank the whole team for this difficult year together and for the goals achieved, thanks very much”.

TOMMASO MARCON#70– not classified
“It was a very difficult race because with the wet track there was very little grip. Precisely for this reason after half of the race I fell at turn three. I really thank the team for the opportunity given to me this weekend and for the work done together”.
