UNA RIMONTA STRONCATA DALLO SCONTRO CON SYAHRIN

La decima gara del Campionato Mondiale di Moto2 al RedBull Ring di Spielberg lascia il Team Speed Up e Simone Corsi fuori dai giochi. La gara si presentava difficile sin da subito data la sofferta qualifica che ha costretto il pilota a partire dalla ventiduesima posizione, ma non impossibile per il team italiano. Seppur svantaggiato, Simone dopo qualche giro si ritrova a lottare per l’undicesimo posto, ma a metà gara si scontra alla seconda curva con Hafizh Syahrin concludendo così il GP d’Austria.

“È stato un weekend complicato ed insolito. Dopo i test privati qui al RedBull ring sapevamo di poter competere con gli altri piloti anche in questa gara, ma qualcosa è andato storto e non siamo riusciti a gareggiare come potevamo fare. Ora non ci rimane che lavorare duramente nel test di domani in vista della prossima gara al circuito di Brno”.


A COMEBACK CUT OFF BY A CRASH WITH SYAHRIN
In the tenth race of the Moto2 World Championship at the Spielberg RedBull ring Speed Up Team and Simone Corsi are out of the race. The competition was hard from the start when suffered qualifying session forced the rider to the twentysecond position on the grid. Although the disadvantage, after few laps Simone was fighting for the eleventh position, but at a certain point of the race he crashed at turn two with Hafizh Syahrin ending his Austrian GP.

“It was a complicated and unusual weekend. After the private test here at RedBull Ring we knew we could compete with the other top riders also in this race, but something went wrong and we were not able to ride as we could do. Now we have to keep working hard, mostly in tomorrow’s test, focusing on next race at Brno circuit”.
